The Altar Guild Team is responsible for setting up the altar and preparing the worship area for our services. This includes making sure the correct hangings are in place and that the communion-ware is prepared. St. Luke celebrates the Lord’s Supper at all of our regularly scheduled services. Following the service the altar guild member is responsible for clearing the altar and washing the communion-ware.
The Altar Guild also makes preparations for baptisms, weddings, funerals, and festive services.
