Lectors, those who read Scripture, are needed for each worship service. A person must be willing to practice the Scripture Lessons assigned for the day. The lector normally will read the first two Scripture lessons assigned for the Sunday from the altar. A schedule of lectors is mailed out by the Lector Team Leader, Sandy Wimmermark.
Lectors are given the opportunity to also write and lead the Prayers of the Church. If you would like to do this please let Sandy know so that the Church Office will know when a lector will be also giving the Prayers so that the worship folder for that service can be updated.
