With the weather report for Saturday night talking about a nor’easter coming it is time to remind people how we will try to communicate any closures or delays of services at St Luke this season.
Our goal, foremost, is not to cancel any services. One pastor has four wheel drive on his car and other lives within walking distance of the church. Yet we realize that weather may necessitate either a postponement or services or a cancellation.
In the event that we need to postpone or cancel a service or the Learning Hour please check the following: (In preference order)
1)Check our website here : www.stluke.info
2)Check closures on either channel 4 NBC30 or channel 3 WFSB
3)Listen for radio announcments on WICH, WCTY, WNLC, or WKNL
4)If a pastor can make it to the church and change the main greeting, calling the church will also have a recorded update on services on either the main greeting or by selecting option #1 for the worship schedule.
No message on any of these means SERVICES CONTINUE AS PLANNED.
Please remember if the 8:15 service is cancelled, Sunday School is automatically cancelled. We will always try to hold the 11 am service if possible.
